The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.

His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.

The influential industry figure passed away following his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a highway in LA on Sunday, according to.
