Unbowed Celtic's manager insists he is not worried about the sack but Celtic fans show anger following derby defeat.

The under-pressure manager declared he had no concerns about the sack, claiming, “The team is really close to changing our fortunes,” in the wake of sliding worryingly close to the exit with a comprehensive defeat by their arch-rivals.

A Second-Half Capitulation Sees Derby Loss

He remains focused on the fact Celtic can perform strongly for a half at a time. “The performance we had at stages was of top quality. This is the reality. I could not speak so positively if it was untrue. Therefore, when it comes to wins, I noted we've seen this before. That’s why I believe we are really close to getting it right. Currently: small things.”

“There were a lot of encouraging signs that we did, like today again. The issue now it’s about performing for 90 minutes. My narrative would change the same. This is why I firmly believe we will manage to get back on track.”

Opposition Reaction Outlook

Rangers manager was cautious about a championship push despite what appeared to be a huge result. “We take it game by game, then we can develop momentum,” he said. “The belief in the group is outstanding.”
